Shes a hardtop 84 with
rebuilt L69 305HO (2000miles)
9.something:1 compresssion
Comp cam Lift: .490''/.490''
Duration: 274°/286°
RPM Range: 1800-6000
416 heads
Edelbrock performer intake
holley 600cfm
14in open element
stock exhaust manifolds w/ 2.25in piping to a glasspack

I`m guessing around 200hp,and probably a mid 15@88-90mph.
I`m sorry, but all you really added was a camshaft.

I'd have to agree. With the stock exhaust you won't be gaining any great amounts of power no matter what you do.

Get rid of the stock exhaust, and you'll be miles ahead of where you are now.

A better intake would be good too... like an RPM or Air Gap.

Car: 89 Camaro RS
Engine: 350 carbed now
Transmission: World Class T5
Axle/Gears: Peg Leg w/ 3.73's
You would probably get a little more than 10 hp but not much more. It doesnt matter how much you do to the engine if it can breathe you can be the fastest runner in the world but if you try to run a marothon breathing through a straw you wont win. Also you need to get your heads modified for the extra lift of the cam and you need at least 3.42 gears and a 2400 stall because of the range of the cam. I would get a little bit smaller cam for streetability and the fact that the 305 wasnt meant to breathe above 5500 rpms the comp XE268 would be a good cam. Also if you ported the heads you would see a good amount of power. With all of the about mentioned, headers, and a 3'' exhaust you could knock down low 14's.

Car: 1991 Camaro Z28 5.7 G92
Engine: L98 Tuned Port Injection
Transmission: TH700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Posi G80
RPM intake
headers and a good exhaust

I think you will make about 265 hp and you could pull off a mid 14 with some drag radials and a good clutch and a sick launch, assuming you are close to sea level.
