The Stage1 pump from www.stewartcomponents.com comes in a little cheaper than the victor and is at least as good (supposedly better I believe). The Stage1 is $69 but is cast iron instead of aluminum. The Aluminum Stage2 pump is around the same price as the Edelbrock pump...

I've been really happy w/ my Stewart pump (stage1).

I've got the victor pump and it works GREAT! I've heard Milodon makes a decent belt driven pump, and even Summit from other peoples tales...

I have the Stewart Stage I pump also, and besides it not being aluminum for weight reasons, it is a great water pump at a great price.

The Stage 1 is about half the price of the Edelbrock.I installed a Stewart stage 1 and a 160* stat on my L98 last summer and it wont get hotter than 190* in town and runs about 150* on the highway.

the only thing I don't like about the ebrock is they say it is supposely rebuildable. I don't see any indication that it is rebuildable.

The Edelbrock knocked a few degrees off my engine. I love it.
