Well, the decision is coming down to this, want your opinions
Well, i've narrowed my next mod down to these two: hooker comp headers or edelbrock performer (or RPM) intake. I've posted tons of time on the intake and some on headers. Most people say the intake is crap w/o getting a new cam, but at the present time, i cant afford an install on a new cam. Now i know most of you will say, get headers, you'll need a cam yadda yadda. But seriously speaking here, i want the best hp to dollar ratio. I also want the one that will cost less to install. Now i know i'm asking a lot, but money is still an issue, but i can get a good eal on installs so yea. All i'm looking for is your opinions. I plan on ordering one or the other by next monday at the latest. Thanx for all the help

Headers.....you won't believe the difference.
The manifold by itself won't do you much good.
Headers 1st, then a cam & manifold swap at the same time is my suggestion.

Definately headers on that TBI... Have you seen that puny y-pipe your car has??? GM really put the strangle hold on you TBI guys with that Y-pipe (I used to have an 88 TBI Firebird). I know other manufacturers header kits come with a new Y-pipe as well, not sure of the Hookers, but I think they do as well. If not, have a nice big y-pipe made for those things..... You will like the gains from headers and a bigger Y-pipe......
