Ive got an 88 Serp setup with all the acsessories. i have no need for the air pump to be there so i wanna get rid of it. has anyone done this and if you have can you tell me which belt you used to make up for the difference in it not being there? i figure its gonna have to be about 3 to 4 inches shorter but im not sure. thanx in advance guys.

"You will however need a longer belt, I used Dayco 968K6 belt. It is basically a 96.8" 6 rib belt. All parts stores stock just about every length of belt in every width. They should be able to find it using these numbers."

That's the quote from the article. I used that belt when I removed the smog pump and it worked fine with my stock pulleys.
