2 Bad fuel injectors.. Reccommendation on replacement? 91 Z28 350TPI

So after spending a fortune on changing **** that did not need to be changed, it looks like two of my fuel injectors are reading only like 3-4 ohms and need to be replaced. I figure the car has 105k miles on it so it's stupid to replace just the two.

I've searched and read several threads but still could not figure out which to buy.. It's a mostly stock 350TPI with MSD ignition/coil, hypertech chip, edebrock intake manifold/runners/headers. I've read mixed opinions about Accel's injectors and also read some people like the Ford SVO / FMS injectors.. I just want a basic stock replacement that does not cost $180 an injector like GM charges.. What # injectors am I looking for that will work without needing to get a reprogrammed prom?

L98's are 22lbs. If you want stock replacement, get some 22lb SVO injectors. Ebay usually has a bunch.

I just called summit and he said he doesnt see any 22#, only 19 and 24.. From what I've read the 19 is too small for the 350TPI and the 24 is too high without swapping the prom for one which is set for 24# injectors.. I dont burn proms and I don't have any interest in spending more money on one either, as this car is about to make me broke..

Send your stock injectors to Rich at Cruizin Performance and get back a set flow matched within 2% of each other for a fraction of the cost of new.

Best money you ever spent.

If you have a cold start valve.... send it too.

I've read that as well, but unfortunately a shop is doing this and it's unlikely they will be able to wait for me to send them out, especially since I hear he is usually busy..

From what I've heard, Rich at Cruzin' won't work on the Multec injectors found in the late TPI engines. He considers them junk prone to failure.

Yeah I read the same thing, and thats right the later models all came with those injectors right? Wouldn't have worked in my situation anyway so..

Well is there any options for me without having to change the prom? Can you run the 24# temporarily with the stock prom? (well, I have hypertech thermomaster beacuse of the 160* thermostat)..

I can't believe no one makes an affordable/reliable replacement 22# injector..

Heyy. Hope im not too late on this one. I had the same issue a good while back. 2 bad injectors. After countless amounts of research on this beautiful site I found the perfect injectors. They are from Five-O Motorsports. A new creation as of recently I think. D9B 22.5 Bosch's. A small, supposedly blind to the computer, size upgrade. Ive got the link below. The guys at Five-O are great too. I had seen a set of the injectors on their ebay store for quite cheap around a month or 2 before calling my order in. Even though they hadn't been selling any on ebay for a good while when I called, they still honored the price. If you look on ebay, you may be able to get them to honor a cheap price too. I havn't gotten around to installing them yet so I cant give any feedback. Hope this helps!
