350 from a 90' k1500
well, my day just took a total ****, after finding out that my main bearings were toast in the car, i drove down and got a new set, and on the way home.. (like a block from my house) I wrecked my truck.. I know for a fact the truck is gonna be totalled, so i'm going to get as much off of it as i can..
so i'm thinkin i could use the block for my new engine i was gonna build for the car, i'm just wondering if i'm getting a brake and getting a roller engine in this thing (assuming its ok from the wreck), engine didn't sound real good when i had to reach over and turn it off, and it looked like the frame was pushed into the exhaust manifold....
so does anyone know if they are roller blocks, and if the engine will still be ok after taking a very hard impact?

A '90 350 block should have provisions for a roller cam, meaning the everything is there to install a roller cam but it had a flat tappet from the factory. You'd need the roller cam, roller lifters, "dog bones", hold-down springs, cam retainer and the nuts and bolts for it all.
