Mystery fluid
Hey everyone! Well ever since I had my car, I have been wondering about mystery fluid on some component in front of the engine. Its a 2.8l v6. Heres a picture...Its the puddle on that circle thing. Anyone know what that is? You can see its also dripping...I believe its coolant. But i couldnt identify the fluid sitting on top of the circle thing. Any ideas? Thanks.

Taste it
Seriously, I don't know if it's a good thing that I can identify fluid via taste but I guess it has it's perks.
Are those AC lines above it? Condensation maybe?

Well, i took a paper towel and dried up the area and I noticed the towel was all black(grease?) with a light green fluid. So its possibly coolant... I know im leaking coolant somewhere, so maybe its from here? But what is that circle thingy called? What does it do(beside leak lol)?

Thats the pitman arm I believe. It doesnt leak fluid, it just looks like fluid is dripping into it.

The "Circle Thing" is the top of the power steering Box. If the fluid that you sponged off is green it is most likely coolant. The radiator might have a pin hole leak somewhere, leaky hose etc. Start the car and warm it up until the top radiator hose gets hot (thermostat open) and take a look in that area and see if you have mist or dripping occuring at that point along the radiator / hoses etc....
