Slack in gas pedal?
I've noticed lately that my gas pedal is realllyy easy to push down.
I also get horrible response and I have to floor it just to get it to get up to around 50mph.
I'm suspecting the fuel injectors for the response and whatnot...
but why would I have that much slack in the gas pedal?
Anyone else have this problem?
I searched and someone told someone else about the cable being stretched. How would I know if this is the case? And if this WAS the case..what would need to be done?
Thanks, I appreciate any feedback.

Re: Slack in gas pedal?
Check the cable outer jacket retention in the passenger compartment.
Check the crimped on bead at the pedal to make sure it hasn't slipped.
Make sure the pedal arm isn't bent.
Take all the excess floor mats out of the vehicle.
