What causes this starter noise? (video)

my camaro does the same thing, not every time though. sometimes i start it and it sounds like that, then i stop, start again and it fires up after a second or two.

fast forward to about 20 secs in and you'll hear it.

Sounds like the starter drive is bad.

When you remove the starter, check all the teeth on the flywheel.

Sounds more like a bad spot in the flywheel to me
