Im STUCK on What to do!
Ok Im really getting to work on my car now. I cant make up my mind to save the life of me. I have set a $1000 budget (not including new paint!). I have 308s with drums, and want to upgrade to PBRs, but that will easily cost $400, or i could paint my aluminum drums red. I also want a new exhaust (hooker 2055s and flowmaster cat back, easily $700). My suspension is in my sig, and my interior is complete except for new carpet ($275). i know i cant do all of it, so what would you do? Rear end? Exhaust?

Re: Im STUCK on What to do!
I would do the exhaust first myself. Dynomax has an actual dual exhaust that fits. It's only 2 1/4, but that handles a good amount of power still. Along with the headers and mufflers it should be between $5-600.
If you look around you may be able to get a fourth gen rear from a bone yard, that has 3.42's and disc brakes for $4-600. If you get 2inch spacers for the front you can run the fourth gen wheels all the way around with that rear.
The options are endless....

Yes, there's sooo many options it makes your mind spin! My suspension is done except maybe shocks/struts. I think ill do the exhaust first, and if a rear shows up locally for a decent price ill snag it. I plan to do headers once i work my way to the front of the car.
