No Start.... AGAIN
Hello All -
So a while back I had a rough running/ no start concern, went through everything and replaced alot of things just because lots of stuff was old. New cap, rotor, plugs, ignition module, pickup coil, main coil, checked tps, map, and iac and all were good, fuel pressure was fine too. Finally checked resistance on the injectors and half were toast. So, threw in all new injectors and seals, problem solved, runs great. well now after a few thousand miles, i have had a sticky throttle body, so i decided to clean it, didnt take it apart, just sprayed some b12 on the butterflys and linkage to clean it up. let it sit for a bit and fired her up, ran like crap which i was expecting, then died and would not start, it did throw a check engine light so i figured lets check the codes. no response from the car. two differnt snap on scanners and nothing. if someone sprays carb cleaner in the t.b. while i hold it at 2k and fire it it stays running til the spray stops... i think this comm problem has something to do with it. HELP!

Re: No Start.... AGAIN
Injectors and fuel filter were just replaced. I am wondering why there is no response from the obd system... Whatever that is, is probably it.

Re: No Start.... AGAIN
Get a noid light set or a test light and check to see if the injectors are firing from the computer. If not firing, check to see (with injectors plugged in and key on) if you are getting 12 volts to the wires at the computer. If so, you have a bad computer. If not you may have a blown fuse or broken wire somewhere. Use the lights first with a wire diagram and you should be able to figure it out. Good Luck!
