Head bolt torque?

Not as simple as that really (I think). Here's the scenario. I have ARP head bolts and Dart aluminum heads. Dart and ARP ALL have different #'s they're saying for torque. I understand the aluminum expands differenlty than iron so the torque will be lower. ARP is saying 60ft lbs, but Dart are saying 70ft lbs.

I need some direction here. I don't feel like blowing head gaskets on this new motor.

Re: Head bolt torque?

i used to buy 5,000 rounds of 9mm for 200.00 and chi .223 for 3 cents each. those days are gone. it costs a fortune to go to the range and shoot up 400 rounds.
and don't even begin to look at .45 ammo - its through the roof.
