Identify that wire

Car: '88 camaro
Engine: TBI 350
Transmission: 5 spd
Identify that wire

Anybody know what this is? Its down by the starter on my 350 TBI. I've looked around and dont really see anywhere for it to connect.

that pigtail goes to the fan switch located in the passenger side head, the knock sensor uses the same style connector but from the angle of this pic thatd be impossible not to see plus youll be throwing codes like crazy

Look from the same angle up on the head youll see the sensor, itll be on the head between two of the spark plugs on the rear half of the head

hrm seen absolutely nothing between the spark plugs. I will look again tomorrow and try to get a pic.

In between #4 & #8 below spark plugs and just above the starter.
There are 2 connectors on the passenger side with that type of connector; Fan temp switch, and Knock Sensor. KS is center of block just above the oil pan rail.

finally got it back up on jack stands and took a long again. I still cant find anything else on that side. here's a pic showing the one connector I did find:


thats the knock sensor right?
