Temp Sending Unit
Hi All,
Okay, I am trying to find my Temp Sending Unit on my 1983 z-28 305 engine.I know where the sensor is located( by the water neck housing), but I cant seem to find the actual Temp Sending Unit.If anyone can help would really appreciate it.

Re: Temp Sending Unit
It can be either, My trans am has a basically round plastic connector about 3/4 in in diameter with a smaller round hole in the center that clips down over the sender.

Re: Temp Sending Unit
i understand.maybe the actual connector that the spade connector was connected to fell off.I dont know.but hers whats weird.that wire wasnt hooked up before i put my edelbrock on,and the gauge was working.took off the edelbrock and put my quadrajet back on ,and now it does even move.getting 5 vdc at the connector.any other ideas?

Re: Temp Sending Unit
Maybe you trapped the wire under the intake or it got cut off?
