Driving with EGR error code (32) bad for car?

I have a check engine light for EGR. I decided today to remove the plenum so I could remove the EGR valve and clean it. I could not get the EGR valve off since the bolts are impossible to remove with a socket. I tried a small box wrench but the two bolts holding the EGR valve to the manifold are on pretty tight. Looks like you have to fully remove the runners, fuel rails and fuel pressure regulator to get at the EGR bolts.

My car runs fine and pulls hard. Will driving around with error code 32 do damage to my car? I am planning on upgrading to a FIRST intake along with other engine upgrades. Would it be ok to wait until I swap intakes? I don't feel like removing all of the parts now just to clean my EGR valve. Thanks.

Simple answer no, you will not destroy your motor running with a bad EGR valve. However thats not to say its ok to ignore it till its conveniant eather.

*Nevermind, my reply didn't really address your question.*
