ac problem

okay guys quick question of what i should check or what you think

my ac is warm or acts as if im over heating when driving. if im not stopping and going it stays some what cold. filled with freon today and still same results.

and with ac it over heats. with it off not a problem and yes both fans are on when they should be.

im stumped

Are you able to check high and low pressure together?
You may have air in the system and it may be over pressured at idle.
Just guessing but sounds logical.

was over charged. brought it down where it should be. was cold as hell til i drove it and sat in it and then it started the whole thing of warm cold warm again.

dad suggests pump it out and recharged it. i don't think it will help but what else should i check or do?

why do you not think it will help?
At least it will confirm that you have no air in there and you can take it from there.
I'd get some leak detector in there too if I was you. That way you can monitor connections easier seeing as there will be luminous green around a bad one with leak detector.
what sort of frequency is your compressor clutching....constant or short bursts?
