a cool thought

i dont think that this would even be possible but is there any possibiity that a few of the 305 TPI auto cars may have gotten the l98 cam? like maybe a few guys snuck a l98 cam and stuffed it in a 305 and that nobody caught it? and that there are maybe a few stronger running auto cars than stock peanut cam cars. just a thought

Re: a cool thought

no, probably not, and could never prove it. You can put a l98 cam in your 305 if you so desire.

Re: a cool thought

from what i've heard the '85 305 tpi DID get the same
cam as the flat tappet L69,L98,L83.
'86 305 TPI got a milder cam,same as LU5 CFI 305 i
have heard.
not sure about '87-later.
