194 fuelers? info about heads in general?

194 fuelers? info about heads in general?
i dont know too much about the different heads and casting numbers and stuff but would like to. there is a set of "194 fulers" - quoted. for sale near me. id just like to know what these are and are they any good? also ive been seeing alot about "double hump" or "camel hump" heads. what are these? thanks.
i dont have the money to buy anything at the moment but i want to rebuild the top half of my engine with a carbed intake because im currently running a tpi 305's top end on a 350 block. except for the injectors (from a 4thgen z28). i mean its fast. i wanna go faster. haha. anyways, i probably wont be able to afford stealthram or anything like that, and carbing it seems like id have more options. mabey even a high performance tbi, but i havent looked into that at all.
im just wondering about heads. good used heads? idk about valve sizes and all that ether./ i mean i know about the stuff i just arent familiar with the terminology.

These older heads you mention - most don't have accessory bolt holes, and so won't work for your application (unless you swap all accessories over to old school block/intake mounted stuff).
Some of them were great back in the day, but technology has come a long long way, and for the same or less (definitely less trouble) you can have new heads that will flow alot better and make alot more power.
I'm no expert on heads, but even if they were free, unless you have your own machine shop to drill the holes and set them up for free, I do know they aren't worth the effort. There's alot of great choices out there today - I'll let others do the sales pitch on what to look at.
