87 350 tpi instantly overheating and stalling need advice please !!!
Well my iroc is giving me issues again...this time I just replaced the coil ,i had weak spark and it turned over with the first crank which was great cause it didn't start for 5 months.so far recently I've replaced the battery, alternator, plugs, wires , cap, coil, icm and the water pump replaced all gaskets on the top end new tranny. Any how got it to turn over and it was running good ,loping idle always had it so I'm driving for about a hour got stuck in traffic and noticed my temp going up I just replaced the stat last year with a 160 ° so kept driving a little while and temp was fluctuating while driving going down at a stop it would go up. well all of the sudden the car just died cranked it started up and died repeatedly I let it cool down a few hours go to start it and it heats up in no time and conks out with the key on temp says 220 with key off im in the red????? Any ideas?
