Car: 1989 Camaro & 2005 Silverado
Engine: 305 TBI & 5.3 Vortec
Transmission: 700R-4
305 700R4 troubles
Okay, just the other day my car(1989 305 TBI) was normal as can be. Then I go into town. Fill her up with fuel. Now, all of a sudden I've lost my high RPM power. Low RPM power is good but still not normal like it used to be. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, coil, and rotor. Still no power in high RPMs like before. I can still chirp through second. It just seems as if its losing it's power and staying in all three gears way too long. Know anything that could of caused this? My next best bet is to replace the fuel filter..

I did replace the fuel filter and just as fast as the problem came to be it vanished. Thanks guys.
