Engine Runs hotter with new headers normal?
Hey all so im noticing my engine is running slightly hotter after installing my new Hooker 2055's. I had some Jeg Mids that WERE wrapped in header wrap and my motor ran around 200-205 in this summer heat ( central valley of CA is horrible). Now it can get up to about 217-220. Is it normal for headers to run a little hotter when new? Or did that header wrap really help? lol
Any information or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Engine Runs hotter with new headers normal?
Just wanted to update slightly; verified by EBL WUD engine compartment temps are about 15-20F higher than usual (IAT readings). Looks like the header wrap did help! on another note this is why i rant that Ebl Flash is an amazing system not only for tuning but diagnostics as well!
