Random hesitation and power loss.
On my way to work something happened. Car started fine but coming to my first stop there was some hesitation and power loss. Idle appears a little rough but nothing crazy, and sounds normal. However, once acceleration is needed it feels and sounds like one of my spark plug wires came off. Hood vibrates allot when accelerating and it has never done that before.
Checked my plugs while on break and they were all connected.
Thinking bad injector or possible bad spark plug - it has been throwing code 34 and running rich for a while now.
Any ideas?

Re: Random hesitation and power loss.
Perhaps I did not give enough information.
Anyways, have not replaced plugs yet since it has been raining and cold out. However, my wife did follow me for a drive and she said it smells very rich. Now I am leaning on a bad plug.
Is there anything else under the hood that could prevent proper spark other than bad plugs? Wires, cap and rotor look fine on visual inspection so far.

Re: Random hesitation and power loss.
Do an ohm test (continuity) on the wires. Make sure that what goes in also comes out.
Did you visually inspect the plugs as well?
Bad engine vibration means something is off balance. A piston not doing its power stroke could be one.

Re: Random hesitation and power loss.
Check and correct your code 34 first. Check your vacuum to your MAP Sensor. You may also have a bad sensor or connector.
