Car: 1988 Trans Am GTA and 1979 10th Anv
Engine: 350

Timing advice Pleas

I need timing help Pleas, I have a 1988 GTA 5.7 and I just installed a new distributor, can someone pleas explain how I need to adjust the timing and what degree it needs to be set at.........?

Missed this one

You need to locate the EST bypass connector, on my car it's sorta laying on the pass side fenderwell, believe it's a tan/black wire (single wire connector)

Unplug it, and set your base timing to 6* BTDC, shut the car off, plug the connector back in...you should be good to go!
