Fan relay pinout 84 z28 H.O.
Hi, I've finally got all of my kinks worked out minus one thing. I can't figure out where my fan switch wire is, so I'm trying to figure which wire it is coming out of the relay and just follow it. Does anyone know which wire coming out of the relay goes to the switch in the passenger head? Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure all 84s had a clutch fan. Signal wire for the relay should be green or black. Here's the pinout for factory relay.
A) 12ga, Black/Red wire, Fan Power, This wire goes to fan positive.
B N/A
C N/A
D) 18ga, Brown wire, Relay Coil Power, This is the 12v trigger for the relay coil.
E) 12ga, Orange wire, Battery Power, This wire goes to a fuse, then battery positve.
F) 18ga, Green/White wire (some may be black), Relay Coil Low, This is the low (ground) trigger for the relay coil

Re: Fan relay pinout 84 z28 H.O.
Mine has a single fan on it and I'm pretty sure it came that way. I previously owned the car and got it back. Everything used to work perfect and whoever I sold it to or who they sold it to kinda hacked up some of the wires. The original relay was an AC Delco 14078902. It was messed up so I replaced it with a BWD R645 due to the AC Delco being discontinued and the R645 was a little simpler to get.
