Procedure for changing fuel injectors

I looked all over the tech article section and didn't see a definitive recap on how to change injectors. I realize it's not rocket science but there has to be some 'look out for's' and 'watch for's' in doing this.

Anyone have an article on how to do this - I know basically what do to but are there tricks about the retainers, etc. that I should know about?

Thanks...........

There's the obvious stuff...i/e remove cables, pleanum, runners...thing to look for on the runners is that there is a bolt going through the backside of the runners...easy to miss until you've looked it over.

Fuel rail clip need to be rotated, I forget which way, but it'll be obvious when you do it.

I pull the rails with the injectors intact first..wiggling up a little bit after a squirt od WD40 into each hole. ONce the rail assy is up and out, I'll take the injectors out.

Not too much of a suprise anywhere.
