Car: 89 GTA Engine: 355 TPI Transmission: T-5 | roller lifters and problem w/afr head how many rpm's should a stock replacement lifter (roller) can
handle? Also like to know if anybody had any problems w/ AFR
valve springs and valves?
Its taken 3 bent valves(same cylinder), 2 chips, scan tool,&
lots of $ in machine work and gaskets to find my problem.
I am so pissed off because I built my engine 1 year ago and I still don't have it right. I had paid good $ for these pieces of s**ts
($1700 to be exact) and I really want to shove it up AFR's ***!lala:
My NEW machine shoprec. all new valves and springs because
the valves were pitted at the tips and the springs were below
spec. only 3000miles on engine.
Knock sensor would go crazy at 2600 rpm, but I managed to pull of 275hp / 382 tq. with 8deg knock retard
