Starter wires

I am putting my car back together but I forget how the wires go on my starter. I have a small aftermarket high-torque starter that someone I know's friend builds. It has two large posts and one small one. It is obvious which wires goes on the small one. but how do you know which of the other wires go where? I put them on how I thought I remembered them, but the way its set up now, nothing in the interior of the car gets power and when I turn the key none of the gauges or lights come on and no cranking. Would just the starter wires hooked up wrong cause NO power to anything in the interior? Thanks,
John

No one knows? There isnt any markings on it that I can see (it's kinda tight under there), but one post has a wire going into the starter itself and the other doesn't. Do all the wires for the larger size post go together (battery cable, and a couple red wires)??????

Please help! I need to break-in the cam today.

maybe I wouldnt have to keep replying to my own post if it wouldn't get buried in 10 min by stupid f***ing posts about racing a godamn ford taurus, how much people pay for insurance, and other non-tech BS.

When the rain stops I am gonna go out there and put all the wires together on one post, try it and if that doesn't work I'm gonna put all of them together on the ohter post. I looked at a friends car today and it was hard to tell but it looked like they were all together.

If you get a manual, then it shows the starter wires positions in the starter.

Whatever. No else respond to this post and just delete it or something if those are the kind of responses I'm gonna get. I'll figure it out eventually. I just thought someone might know from experience and be kind enough to help someone out but I forgot we're too cool and we have to pipe in even if we have no information to help with the subject
