84 TA VS 90's NON TURBO ECLIPSE
HEy guys,
I have an 84 TA LG4 no mods with a tranny that slips with full throttle up until 40 MPH, then its fine... will i have any luck against a mid 90's non turbo eclipse with a header?
Thanks,
TOM

I raced one before on the freeway
should have been in 3rd for the speed I was going but instead had it in 4th
from 60-90 walked him everytime
those things are slower then a constapated turtle

I dont know , I went to school with a guy who had a 93 eclipse with a header and exhuast and he ran a 16.0 , I dont think a stock LG4 in perfect running condition runs that , and you said your tranny is slipping, so good luck.

If my friends stock 2.8 Cavalier can take a modded non-turbo eclipse...I sure hope you can. From a light, even with a slipping tranny it should all be yours..
