nice kills man.. eventualy when my lb9 has more miles on it and its tired down the road im going to put a 350 in it and use the tpi induction and im also going to supercharge it... pretty much the same deal you have going... right now though my car only has 65xxx miles on it so i am going to use the 305 for a while till it starts to get tired and for now just do bolt on that i can later on use on my 350 swap.

ive also got alot of "burners" around ware i live but most of them are just cosmeticaly doen up with fart cans and such nuthing real fast but every now and then you will get surprised with one that is ok and will give you a run for your money... but mostly arounf here you have to worry about the 4th gens... there are a couple 4th gens trying to pass them selfs off as z28s around here also.. i mean they will look totaly bad *** and then they will take off and you will hear the exauste and will know from a mile away its a 3.8:lala:

any way again man good kill.... it seems to me now a days most of the girls are going for the "burners" and dont knowwhat a real car is thats why i also as you do love killing these cars in front of the girls and show them who drives the real car

You should have known by the way he talked shi t to you that he wasn't fast. Then, his r icer bling bling should have tipped you off even more.

The doughnut was a lame r icey thing to do. And they stopped making RX-7s almost ten years ago.

He didn't disrepect any imports you cry baby, I was just letting him know that they haven't made that car for about ten years now.

How do you know it was brand new? LIke Supras, most RX-7s just look brand new because they are rare, and expensive enough that not everyone has one.

Cameron, I have no idea what kind of car it was. Did it look like this?

Man great kill dude, Id love to have seen it. I hate r!cers, with their all looks no show rides, they think they are all TFATF and yet they dont know how to race, which thesad thing is, 80% of "street racers" only know what they saw off that movie, not about real racing. If you propose to race at a track, they say its not "true racer style". Anyways, great you smoked him and showed him American Muscle always rules! Especially in front of the females man Anyways, nice kill but I know how you feel man about once you race it, everyone knows, my cousin had an 87 IROC Camaro and I took it out one night to the local street races, had the t tops out and this ricerwanted to race, I was all giddy lol but I accepted and he did his cheesy front wheel drive burnout and I ate the tires big time and it osundedgood, peopel crowded around but anywho, I came out and i thought he was sittin still but the 396 was just doin that good lol. Long story short, I couldnt race that car against any import anymore, good thing he sold it, bad thing is, I cant make a t-top Camaro in black primer lol. Anyways good kill man and keep up the good work!

Technically they didnt stop making Rx-7s, they just stopped importing them to the US in 1995. Everyone wanted SUVs instead of sports cars

800 hp, typical ignorant tuners who dont know about american muscle. They think v-8 and automatically have 300+ hp. not all are like that but alot are. When I got my Iroc 350, everyone asked whats in it. Id say 350, and they be like 300hp right. I am like no not really. It hurts to say the truth, but I cant lie.

how much power do you think you have? any time slips?

This is an RX-8.

This one sure has an ugly wing, but I think it's the car they used in X-men 2.

Do you have any dyno sheets or something? I'm interested in where in the power band you start to have traction issues. You are the one that blows people's doors off at part throttle while spinning right? lol

I mean, is it just fine to drive when you drive it normally? Or is it like driving in the snow all the time or something.

Thats it! The top one, in yellow!

No dyno sheets or timeslips yet, I plan on taking it to rockwall (i hear they got a dyno and track within 10 miles of eachother) I would love to make a pull or 2 just to get an idea of what i'm running.

Uh, I don't want to drive it all the time, when I idle on slick concrete (that kind at motor lube and drive thru's) i chirp each tire about every 4 foot.....it is NOT something I would let my mother drive for sure, when I turn cornors I have to pretty much idle because any amount of gas will send me into a fish tail. Fun car, and I get lots of looks from the ladies

Cameron, if your car really is even in the 11's, the only turbo Eclipse you should be worrying about is this one, which you'll probably never run into:

http://www.shepracing.com/sr_dragtalon.html

Not some stunna with neon and subs.

Make sure you check out the specs of this Eclipse. He's got full glass, fully carpeted, and all metal except for the hood. I thought that they bored it out to a 2.4 (many DSM guys do this) but it's the stock 2.0 or whatever it is.

I'm retiring my Camaro to a storage shed for a week because she has been terrible to my gas bill.

I still love her though, I won't race anyone anymore just tell them "Bah i would burn you not worth my time" i guess that makes me a hero!

I did take a young lady ( ) to sonic and I saw a prowler! I ask him if he wanted to race (I know those prowlers are SLLLLLOWWWWW and he wouldn't) but his excuse was "Nah its a showcar"

I should have been persistant, but that MOPAR MAGIC license plate cover really made my blood boil

I hope my car never turns into a trailer queen

It's easy to make fun of clowns, no matter what they drive. I just get pissed when people group everyone together. Just like many people here would get pissed if I started calling everyone a bunch of uneducated *******s and making cracks about "kick his sister's chin," and such.

Yeah, the 3rd gen Camaro is a real staple in car design. When you ask someone to name the best looking cars, a 3rd gen is right at the top of the list.

i think its the third looking best i believe first gen 4th gen third and then 2nd altho i like the split grills so its 1st gen all the way through 72 and then 85-92 then 98-02 and then the rest even tho mines a 84
o and your car doesnt have to move to hit the go button you can do it from a stop and put all that pwr to the ground at the start. you just can use alot and have really sticky tires and a big pocket book to buy your u joints and trannies

I really like the 1st Gen Camaros, I think they look really badass, along with the 4th gens, both LT1 and LS1. But I have to say that I really think that 2nd Gens have got to be the ugliest car ever made, well, next to the Cobra II.

As far as camaros go,
first gens are awesome, then 70-73 second gens (74-81 just doesnt look good except T/A's), then thirdgen 85-92, then 98-02 LS1 cars, then 93-97 LT1 cars. I was trying to get this 72 SS396 car that was hugger orange and 4speed. interior was nasty but man those cars look good.

One of my roommates has the 75-81 TA at home. He said it ran 13's when it ran. Now he drives a Ranger.

cool, my friend in highschool had a 76 TA with 400. pretty quick but mostly just a mild rebuild. Something like 325-350 horse.

ricers

the f and f movies have poisoned our youth's brains! Its really unfortunate, they think these 4cyl. cars are fast, what a joke! Every dummy now has a big wing, graphics and a fart pipe and think they are the greatest thing. As for looks, they look stupid. They are more cute than anything, better suited for girls. Men drive real cars, american muscle! Every time I see a guy driving a ***** I point and laugh, If its a women I think its OK because its a girly car. Just Like alot of my childhood friends love mustangs and I scatch my head at it and often ask, did someone tell you guy's when you were growing up that these things are good? LOL, at least they're V8's and can be made fast though.

Car: Only a daily driver, but comin home
Engine: I have one that runs ;)
Transmission: Caged hamster that runs really fast
Axle/Gears: They are round, I know that much
as much as i hate the Jap cars out there, i will have to agree that, and defend STU, we can't judge by the car(despite what i said earlier in the post) that some one drives, cause there are legitimate fast imports out there with owners who arent stupid and know what they are talking about, but it is more a matter of finding them than anything. but i have only seen one import that ran a solid mid 10 quarter on HP....but then again it had a Chevy small block in it!!!

Man there are plenty of quick Eclipses/Talons out there. I have a buddy at work with one that just needs injectors now and he'll be running with LS1s. Now he's going to sell it to buy a '97 VR-4...which will hang with an LS1..stock. My cousin has a low 11-sec Talon, and is going for 10s this season (he's only been to the track once so far).

Not all imports are stupid. Sure, I laugh at some, but others I'd LOVE to drive. Those RX-7's, in my book, are sweet looking cars. I was messing around with a guy in one of those the other day until I heard his twin turbos spool up and blow by me.

There's a pair of Mustangs around school that I want to race when I finish the work on my car. I haven't seen the one buy my buddy was talking about it today, I guess it has a Saleen body kit on it. The other is a silver '02ish GT that hangs around after school every day. Gotta hand it to them though..the exhaust on those stangs sounds sweet with those H-pipes...
