Raced a Honda

Me and one of my friends were sitting at a stoplight and some guy pulled up in blue and silver Civic, he had the whole ***** package including the muffler that makes him sound like a pissed off weedeater, I gave him the beating off his life with a stock TBI 305, how sad is that?

Nice... I still find it hard to believe people think their economy cars are really faster when the put bodykits and loud mufflers on them. But they do it anyway.

To them there are two ways to go faster; louder muffler and more stickers.

Most of the kids at my school are like that. Big fart can, 200 stickers, and the HUGE wing and they think mommys honda is a race car. Until I smoke the hell out of them.

i dont even bother with kids like that anymore. Maybe if I had my old '85 with the LG4 they might present a little more of a challenge.. now they're a minor nuisance to be swatted down at the race track.

and I don't think you'll anger stu, he's as anti-r!cer as most of the people on this board, just he realizes that imports can be fast, unlike most of the people on this board.

People who think that kids think their cars are faster after putting a body kit on the car, are JUST as stupid as the kids who put body kits on their cars. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Just like hookers on front street, kids with wings and cans want attention. Kids with Decals and TYPE R badges want respect. They deserve none.

As for negative attention,
They get mine, and yes I think they are stupid. However, I find no reasoning to think that my intelligence is somehow undermined just because I feel that they have unfortunately never been instilled with common sense and good taste.

The kids who deserve respect are the ones in primer black crx's with motors they have spent every school night on pulling whatever numbers they can.

Everything I put under my hood comes with a CARB EO#. Those stickers go on the underside of the hood. It becomes FASTER and LOUDER. Then again we are talking, Intake, Cam, Exhaust, etc, future blower, future nitrous kit, and the Dart Heads.

Put your money where it belongs and you will achieve your function. Show cars are just that SHOW, then you have the primered grey or red sleepers.

But watch out for that occasional finished project that both looks nice and is Fast.

My friend was telling me a story about this kid who went to his school. He had a lightly modded Honda and everytime he beat a Mustang he would put a sticker of a pony on his door. My friend took a look at the Honda one day and it had five or six pony stickers on it, so he asked the kid are you racing V6 Mustangs and the kid was like a Mustang is a Mustang lol! The kid had exhaust [fart can], intake, and the HUGE wing. I guess he would race older v6 Mustangs that he knew he could beat. Hope he runs into a GT someday, or better yet an SVT

Just though Id share

It would be funnier if he was racing older 2.3 4 banger Mustangs and gets walked by a V6.

My G/F has an older Lincoln Mark ?. It has the "factory" mustang spec 302 EFI HO under the hood(It actually has a F-303 cam, AFRs, bigger injectors, upgraded MAF, high flow cats, QUIET turbo mufflers, cold air intake, plus alot more. It also has like 3.7x gears in the rear and an AOD that has been built up with a higher stall torque converter. Yes, I actually have a G/F that is into cars as much as me. Even if it is a Blue Oval. She had a Fast and Furious style Honda Civic/Acura Integra (forget which) decide to rev on her when I was with her. Guess who lost. A big-old-boat of a Lincoln pulled about 5 car lengths on him in an 1/8 mile.

You mean he would be racing a 2.3 liter 4 banger Mustang, and then a second, completely different Mustang would beat them both?

I think he means it would be funny if he got his wins by racing those old 90 horsepower mustangs. Then when he goes to race a V6 mustang, the V6 beats him.

I wouldn't call a stock civic with a 2ft. wing fart can and ugly vinals going down the sides quite a show car.

About 5 years ago my brother seen 2 ricers line up on a 4 lane and he was behind them, and they took off and he went by both of them like they were standing still, It was a NOVA with a stout 383 small block but you should have seen the guys faces when all they saw was tail lights from about 100ft out, they were so shocked they would not even pull over to be laughed at....LOL.

I was with one of my friends in his F-150 when we saw a bounch of r!cers in a shopping center parking lot. We rushed to my house got my 89rs and took of back to the parking lot. They saw me ride by and just stared at me. Then I stoped and started doing donuts right in front of them, they started jumping around and cheering like they never saw it before. It was pretty cool.

I have a pretty much stock, worn out LO3 and can munch most of 'em. For the last year, when an import feels like racing @ a light, I just smile and shrug it off...unless they have gauges. Could all be aesthetic, but you never know and yeah, they'd probably smoke me, then.

Gauges?
I didn't know that those were an intimidation factor.
For all yah know it's a clock.

That or it is one of those 10" tachs that the 65 year old lady three cars behind can read.

Yeah I know a bunch of kids at my school that buy gauges and hang them up all over the place, literally, it's so unecessary. And they'll tell you straight up they don't mean a damn thing.

As far as Intimidation goes all you really need is a aftermarket hood and headers to a good cat back system. Then it looks like you have a monster under the good and it sounds like it too.
Gauges are retarted if you dont need them. Most of the Ricers around here have them for no reason along with all of the other pointless junk.

but stu I want to put a body kit on my rx7

that way I might be able to fit something larger then a 225 width tire on the front and more then a 235-245 tire in the back

by the way you need to clean your pipe that was a nasty hit I just took

my cousin is one of these people though, but i understand it. he has cold air intake, clear corners, and a couple other things, no exhaust though. its some infiniti sedan like a maxima. but thats his car, and he just wanted it to look a little nicer and have a little more pep and gas milage. he doesnt think its a race car, just looks a little nicer (to him) and has a little better pickup, thats all (hes like 30 something by the way).

...and it's very irritating. If I have a headache, I can be guaranteed that every wannabe is going to floor it at every stop light and make that obnoxious mind-splitting exhaust noise (not tone...noise). If I was driving a car that made that noise under acceleration, I'd check to see what was wrong.

OH: Idea, Idea! --
Let's break in to the "Freakin Huge Spoiler" factory and place rocket-homing GPS tranceivers in every part. Muahahaha!

The worst part about it? Kids are making these kinda cars out of the American Chevy Cobalt and Ford Probe. What a shame.

Shame? As if those cars weren't just a bunch of POS to start with. Pull your head out.

The hi-po Cobalt is actually pretty cool. It's ugly, granted... but pretty quick for it's price.

I have to agree with this. I almost feel dumber after reading some of the posts here... But I get that feeling on almost every site I visit (a lot of the Mustang guys are drooling morons)!

Nice... I still find it hard to believe people think their economy cars are really faster when the put bodykits and loud mufflers on them. But they do it anyway.
Have you ever asked someone with these "mods" if they really thought the car was faster. I know people who race around in cars like that, and a LOT if not all of them know they are slow. But have a good time with them!

To them there are two ways to go faster; louder muffler and more stickers
I just covered that with the quote above. Are you guessing, or do you KNOW this is what they think?

and I don't think you'll anger stu, he's as anti-r!cer as most of the people on this board, just he realizes that imports can be fast, unlike most of the people on this board.
An intelligent post!

So your the LOSER that comes in, shows off his POS 305 car, and gets the rest of us thrown our of the parking lot. Thanks... now go crash your car!

A FART CAN!!!!!!!!! YEEHAW!
Its about as annouing as a kid with a stock 305 running a cut out in my opinion. No need for either, yet Im sure most of you guys would think open headers on a stock weak V8 sounds good!

well done 25thmustang. Good to know you have such an abundant amount of time on your hands.

I dont know whats worse, saying stupid things, or taking the time to acknowledge, analyze, and critique stupid things.

Either way, good show. Almost as good at 305's doing donuts.
