Engine: 305 H.O. 4bbl
Transmission: 700R4.. I think
Axle/Gears: Not Sure, 3.73?
my 85TA vs 96 Integra
Hey...a buddy of mine at school has a 96 Integra...only thing hes got done with it is a ricy maganflow muffler he got at canadian tire...he wants to race...do you think my 305 HO would take it?...if not what mods should i pick up for it to beat it?...thanks!

LOL, yeah, I am pretty sure you will beat him. What kind of mods do you have done to your car, if any? Just make sure you don't spin comin out of the hole. Is yours 5-speed or auto? Either way I am pretty sure you got him.

All i got done to my car is a K&N air filter and an Accel performance distributer...both our cars are automatics lol...you guys thinkin what im thinkin?...its time to kick some ***** a$$ :P lol...il be sure to get it on video for you guys to enjoy :P lol

Just nail the holeshot, you'll be ok. From a roll he might be pretty close, but an automatic 4banger isn't coming off the line link the torque of your SBC will, you should be able to holeshot him really well, and then stay out front.

Yea I would if i could but im still in high school and workin part time for $7.25 and hour lol...a new engine isnt really a realistic mod for me yet lol...although what motor would be a decent one to get when i can?...i was looking at the 350 HO...would that be good?..thanks

You also said you didn't know much about cars, and thats why your here, then before you throw yourself head first into a motor swap, cut your teeth on the 305. Hell its a win-win. Make the 305 a little faster, plus gain some knowledge about cars.
Thats just my .50 cents. Hehe. Good luck though with whatever you do!
