WooooHooooo, I beat an Iroc with my LO3!!
Last night I went out to the local spot with some friends, saw a few good races.
I raced this Iroc with exhaust and a couple other things. When we were lining up I figured he'd beat me because my car is not that fast, but I beat him off the line and by about a car. The second time we raced I got a bad launch and we were directly side by side pretty much the whole way.
I'm guesssing it had a 305 in it, cause if that was a 350 he should be ashamed!
Anyway, just sharing my excitement.

The gears really woke my car up, they whine a little bit at certain rpm's, but I kinda like it. I've installed the headers I have a different car before, and damn! Talk about gains, it was like a different car. Can't wait to get'em on.

I thought LO3s had worse heads than an LG4, with that stupid swirl port crap. People always think the TBI is what restricts the engine, and though it does some, not nearly as much as the horrible heads they put under it.
Hey, it may not be fast (yet) but i drove 210 miles on my last take of 89 octane. Not bad for 125K and needs a tuneup (happening this week).
