It could be low voltage, clogged filter, or a half dead pump. We checked and only had 9 volts to the pump with the key on. Voltage should match battery output, from what I understand. The car also sat for 4 years so it could also be a clogged filter. I'm gonna do the filter this week some time.

I'm thinking about going to Shannonville's last cruise night for the drags this summer. It's Friday Oct.8 I believe. But I think I may be off work the previous weekend, I'll have to double check. If anyone is up for Shannonville on the 8th, that'dd be cool,it was a blast last time, and the air should be nice and crisp this time. - Sweater weather, not too cold yet! As for a "just meet", I think a get togeather, then blast to maybe Brockville for some pics.(very nice backdrop) But I'm up for anywhere with a nice backdrop, Brockville isn't in stone.

As long as the weather is good, it looks like work won't be a problem, I'll be going to Shannonville for sure. As for pics, I don't even own a computer, let alone the resources to post pics. It's not really a show winner anyway.

Anybody want to meet up say this Friday night. I'm gone on holidays all next week and the car is going away as of Sept. 27th due to e-testing, so If anybody wants to meet up somewhere this friday night, let me know, I'll bring it home for the night or so.
I can pick Paul up and drag him with me, I "think" he wants to take it for a rip before it goes away.
Oh, and update on Pauls' fuel pressure problem...it was a brand new, out of the box Holley Billet AFPR that won't hold pressure then spit out it's internals(spring).

Nah, count me out for this friday. The car is going back together for the last time this weekend starting tomorrow.
Holley can eat a dick. So can Crane and Accel. That's how many AFPRs i've gone thorugh.

Paul, I talked to Tammy, and she said that you can send the regulator back and they'll give you a new one. There is no 1 year rule on that.

Hey guy's, I've been to busy to stop in here lately. I would still like to meet next month if anyone is down with that. Accelld I have had my Crane in for two years and never had a problem. I do need a pump though cause I am loosing pressure once the key is off and still running a bit lean. For those who saw my last post with the track times, I went back and gained some top end(traction was even worse) but with the same 60ft's as last time I gained 3mph!! I'm up around 106-108, with a bit more fuel I think it will run 110mph. The temp was warmer this time also so I know that is not why I gained. I can feel more top end now for sure(thanks to the new chip). Ohh and the KVR dyno is up and running, so I will be strapping up to the rollers next week most likely.

KVR
Do you have any idea what they're charging $$ for a dyno session?
I've heard other places going @ $1000 per tune...
It would be nice to know if you know.
How good is there guy? I think you mentioned some other time about your experiences there, but I couldn't quite remember - positive I believe?
Anyway, I'm still up for a meet...
And I haven't quite been following whats going on - but I've had a Crane for over a year now with no problems...

The vacuum spout broke off of my Crane AFPR. It was just pressed in and it wasn't a decent fit. It also uses the factory diaphram which can lead to trouble. Corey, you could be losing pressure through a torn diaphram. You can pinch off the fuel lines to check it.
Reaper, what kind of tuning does your car require? I'd be willing to bet that none of the shops in Ottawa can burn a chip for our cars. I've heard of a guy in Orleans that has an LPE C4 that does chips but i've never met him.

Reaper, KVR is charging $60 for four pulls. As far as tuning goes, he's gonna help me but I kind of know what I want done though.

Just talked to Scream'in Chicken, we were both wondering who is up for a meet maybe on Oct. 3rd (Sunday)? And who is up for the 8th in Shannonville? If no one is interested, we're both probably going to be pulling the cars off for winter. The schedules are just too busy these days. Except for these 2 dates, I'm mostly working. The weather is still like summer, or better for that matter, but the time is now limited. How sad, because the way it looks, summer just got here.

Your not busy. Your only getting married. You can fit a rip in the camaro in your timetable somewhere. How about leaving the church?

I'm hoping I'm a long way from getting married...
Don't need the wife to dip into my 'Camaro Fund'. The girlfriend is already bad enough...

Oh well, guess nothing we can do now but wait till summer. We should plan things way in advance this winter though guys. Make next summer a fun one. I wanna try to go to Shannonville at least a couple times anyway. And I'dd like to see a huge meet. These things take advance planning for sure.

Yep, mine's away for the season. Paul's is running, but it probably won't see the road till next season. So planning ahead well in advance would be a good idea. We should do a local thing too. Even if it's just Ottodrome or Luskville, at least it's pretty close.

I would look at another alternative to the slushbox 700R4. Even my little WC-T5 has held up better than a 700R4 probably would.
By the way guys, my L-88 hood is almost done. I just finished it's second coat of primer and just have to touch up some low spots. It looks killer. I was thinking of cutting some "Chip Foose" style vents into the sides, but that can be done after, if I want to jazz it up.
