Just so happens that I had to get a fuel pump for my GTA today.... damn thing took a crap on me yesterday. I knew something was messed up the last few weeks, but I was kind of chasing my tail until the pump totally failed.

I went with the Walbro 255 High Pressure pump and a Hot Wire kit.

FYI, the Walbro 340 is the 255 High Pressure pump. The 255 Ltr/hr pump comes in two versions and have different part numbers. There is also a 190 Walbro. Here is a breakdown of what kind of flow the different Walbros put out:

And here is the Hot Wire kit info:

All of my turbo Buick friends swear by the Hot Wire kits so I figured I would toss that in with the new pump to ensure it gets lots and lots of power .

Thanks guys I appreciate it. Yeah I've been chasing mine around too. It starts to quit pumping when its hot outside. Just keeps getting worse, right now I can hardly drive around town. Then when it does quit I have to get out and bang on the gas tank to have it kick back in. Getting to point where I cant stand it.

Well I purchased a Holley in tank fuel pump off ebay for $75. It pumps 270+ lph . Cant remember the exact # of liters.

and rightfully so..there is truth behind the pump having voltage drops..think of that hotwire kit as a $50 insurance plan
