Motor build help
right now I am just getting ideas, but help if you can
This will be a street motor, with some mild bracket racing
2 bolt 1 piece rear main 350 bored .030 over
5.7 rods (stock?)
forged pistons, approx. 10-1 comp.
cast iron Bowtie heads, 2.02/1.60 valves
cam??--hyd. roller
roller rocker arms
TPI (at first, will probably go HSR)
Auto trans.(700R4)
converter??
Ok , what do you guys recommend for a cam and convertor?
if possibly, I'd like a decent lope at idle, but still be OK on the street
Thanks

how about a LT4 Hot Cam? I know that it is .525/.525 lift(w/1.6 rockers)
how would it work for this combo?

You realize a 2 bolt main block usually will only handle around 400 hp. You might consider better rods and splayed caps.
