Bad injection problem

I have 4 injectors that fire and 4 that don't I'm going to burn this car pretty soon if i don't get this solved .They were just chemically cleaned . Is it possible there was a service bullitin that said injectors for an '87 Iroc can't be cleaned chemically? They all have power and they seem to test electrically the same. but the inectors on the driverside don't work got any ideas?

if 4 fire and 4 don't, you have a bad injector driver module. Replace your ecm and turn the key, voila!

Yeah. I'd bet on the fuse before the ECM, give it a look.

if it was a fuse, the whole computer would be down. If it were wiring, it wouldn't shut down exactly one bank of injectors. This scenario is way to clean cut to be some weird wiring problem or something else. One of your injector drivers has gone bad, that's all there is to it. Sh*tcan the ecm, because it's toast.

Morley and RP1987GTA are correct, there are two fuses for the fuel injectors. One for the even numbered injectors and one for the odd numbered injectorsAnd no , the whole computer would not be down if it was a fuse.

Ok To check the fuses first where do I find them ? Are they in the fuse box or located under the hood some where. I have never been into the electronics of the fuel system before. I can't tell you guys how much i appreciate this help.

Thanks guys, it was just the fuse. I figure the circut shorted out when the #1 injector started to leak from inside the plug. It runs great again. I will come here for all my info from now on. I want you all to know I really appreciated the help . Thanks again!
