400 Pontiac and TPI harness
Anyone running anything like this? Anyone even running a Pontiac engine in their 3rd gen? I was thinking about building a 400-455 Poncho with Edelbrock heads, nice cam, carb intake converterd to EFI with rails/injector bungs, etc, etc and then using the stock TPI harness with a custom PROM of course. Anyone done anything like this? I'd love to have Poncho power under my hood but I don't want to revert to a carb. Also, is there anyway to run my T56 behind a Poncho? If nothing else I think a 200r4 would be sweet behind it. Let me know what you guys think and I know a lot of $$$$ would be involved in this but so what. Later

I called Force EFI about a conversion for my Olds 455. THey give you a LOT of choices regarding what sensors you want installed during the conversion, etc. I can't be sure, but I think the GM TPI TPS and CTS was an option. THE LT1 stuff was more main stream though. Point being, if you don't have any PHYSICAL constraints, I don't know why it would be a problem. Its too bad you didn't post this a month earlier. I just a saw a Pontiac Torker intake converted for MPFI go for a song on EBAY (~$125). I don't have any Pontiac motors and I almost bid.

Yeah, I can't remember if that was the right price ($125), but I do remember it being in that ballpark and being really cheap. Like I said, if it was an Olds intake, I would have jumped on it in a heartbeat.
