Car: 82 ElCamino, looking for a 3rd gen
Engine: 305 TPI(427SB in progress) 730 $8D
Transmission: THM350 (Getting a 4L80E soon)
Axle/Gears: 10 Bolt w/ 2.43 gears :(
I'm back after going nuts for 7-8 days not having this place and reading the current stage of recovery. Now I have to say that this is the BEST site for 3rd gen F-bodys out there. Was looking at the other not so good sites out there while this was down.

I've been here the whole time.....reading Dirk's updates about 4 times a day. It sucked.
Nice to have the place back.

Glad everyone is back. I was going nutz also. I was relying on my local fbody club West Tennessee F Body Association for information and support. You dont know how much you rely on something or someone(plural) until its gone. I was wondering if the Mod was going to move or close this topic but i guess b/c the situation they might be leaving it alone. Again, glad to have family back!

Thank goodness....
During the downtime, my visors flopped 72000 times, the TH700 began to give third gear away, another square foot of factory paint joined the groundwater, the L98 TPI's hesitation worsened, the right side front wheel/suspension began going CLUNK while reversing while turned right, the water pump gaskets began to leak, the power locks slowed even more...holy cr@p I need a new car. Oh, to top it off, a guy at work said "That thing sounds mean, wanna sell it?" and for some reason I declined. I need a(nother) drink.
I didn't even browse other 3G sites and my car tried to kill itself...sympathy pains with the site. Off to the second bottle.
And oh, welcome back folks.

GAWD it was bad while it was down. I made countless trips to the site, reading the same update atleast 5-6 times in one day. I wanted so bad to just fly out there and mess with the server and see if I could give Dirk a hand.
This is the best site by far for thirdgens and it truely is addicting! I didn't even want to go on the computer that much while the site was down, nothing else worth doing really.
Glad the site is back up, and I missed reading all the posts.

Yeah, gotta chime in with the other guys on this, I really missed reading about all the projects and fun stuff around here. Went back to look for updates several times a day, and I have come to the conclusion I'm kinda addicted to it, but even so, it's not the worstaddiction one can have I guess.
Man, did those other f-body site suck, phuuey. Good thing was that I got some time to look at some wheels. What do you guys think, could this work on our cars, a black one?
