Which rockers for AFR 180's/ZZ4/219

I was thinking crane gold 1.6rr. Would you guys stick with 1.5's or go with the 1.6's? I have the upgraded springs on my heads that will handle up to .600 lift.

Thanks

Will

hey whats up man.

what cam are you goin with? ZZ4 or the LPE 219 cam?

either of those cams with 1.6 rockers will be well below .600 lift. AFR's like to flow at that high lift...so i would look into 1.6 rockers.

Go with the Comp Pro Mags. 10x's better rocker arm. BTW go with the 1.6 with the LPE

Yeah I have the 1.530 springs for .600 lift. Does that affect which rockers I get? I will look into those pro magnum 1.6's.

I'm using these narrow body with my Eliminator 180s and XFI268 cam. No problems with vavle cover clearance.

I am leaning towards the Pro Mags at this point. I like the anodized look, but no one is goingt o be able to see the pretty colors under a valve cover. Might as well get the no nonsense ones instead.

Also can someone explain self aligning and non self aligning to me? Should I go with one or the other? Thanks

Will

Depends on the heads. If you have guideplates (probably do on those AFR's), you dont need the self aligning rockers.

I realize that. But the 219 is a great cam, regardless of whether or not is might be outdated. Guys still make a lot of power with them. And the 180's tend to favor a nice single pattern cam. It's a good matchup in my book.
