Painless VSS wiring adaptor?
Hi guys,
So I bought a VSS from Painless performance so I would be able to run my mechanical speedo while also supplying the correct signal to my ECM (4000 pulse).
I've got a slight problem though; the connector for the VSS is completely different than the connector on my harness...
Harness connection:
VSS:
Does anyone know if there is an adaptor for this, or do I have to splice the wires together? If I do have to splice them, which wires go where?

I've always cut that connector off and installed a two cavity weatherpack connector. We have them at http://www.eficonnection.com/eficonn...atherpack.aspx. It shouldn't matter which black wire goes to the purple wire and which black wire goes to the yellow wire. You'll still get the VSS pulses you need. You can call Painless to confirm.
