2 Chips???
I just got my car not too long ago and the owner told me that he had 2 performance chips put in the car. I know there is one to replace the original prom right? What else is there? I thought I had heard something about a chip for the ECM or something of the sort. Also if I pull the chips would I be able to tell what type/brand they are? Can anyone help me out here?

Our cars only use one PROM in the computer. And yes, aftermarket companies write their name on their PROMs.

His chip may be like mine....SUPERCHIP.
The stock chip plugs into the aftermarket chip, and that plugs into the control board. 2 chips.... 1 performace, 1 stock.....

Thanks for your help guys.
I'm going to pull the chip tomorrow hopefully and see what kind it is. I'm going to try and contact the owner before me to see how he had it set up exactly.
Thanks again.
