L98 vs. LB9 TPI
Is there any difference? I am thinking of buying a L98 out of a C4 Vette. I would like to use my current TPI (since I have it polished) and sell the other TPI. If there is any difference, what is it? Thanks!

Re: L98 vs. LB9 TPI
and you'll need a custom chip to run the bigger injectors. go to www.lsracingchips.com for a good chip for a good price.
You'll need to run your F-body fuel rail since the corvette one feeds from the opposite side.
You also cant run the corvette oil pan and oil pump pickup because it will hit your Y pipe.
You'll also have to route exhaust gas from the passenger side manifold/header into the back of the intake base if you plan on running EGR with the stock corvette intake base. If you use your f-body intake base you cant use EGR at all since vette heads dont have an exhaust crossover.
I can't think of anything else right now........

Different user, similar question for clarification. So ifI were to get a stock L98 block, I could use all of my LB9 components? Throttle body, runners, exhaust manifold, etc? Of course I would need the L98 chip, and bigger injectors as stated above. What size injectors does the L98 use, are they 24lb or are they still smaller than that? Thanks in advance.

25, 19, 21 pounders will all work without tuning just not very well. If you keep the 305 ecm keep your stock injectors and turn up the fuel pressure; I however would program a new prom chip for the engine with whatever injectors you buy.
