Whats better for new heads and plenum?
Hey guys, I posted this same question a day or two ago but not to the tpi part of this site. I've got a 350 in my 87 T/A, headers, exhaust, chip, edelbrock intake, mild cam and a few other things. Problem is i have 305 heads on the 350 in which the thing chokes out at higher rpm's. So if anyone knows whats a good set of heads. Someone mentioned the AFR heads, are these a good set? Next i need my car to breathe some more too, my plenums ported and all but i either wanted the accel super ram or the tpis mini-ram. But since i already have the edelbrock intake manifold i can just by the accel super ram plenum and runners for $750. Plus i can port the **** out of the edelbrock intake too. The TPIS one is like $1200 dollars. So more torque with the Super Ram or more horse with the mini-ram. what to do?

The AFR's are really nice but they are $1200. You can get a set of Sportsman 2's for $700-800. They are a good set of heads, i will be running them on my 383 (eventually) I couldn't tell you about the intakes, i plan on keeping my TPI.
