350 chip in a 305

i bought a whole tuned port setup recently. its an 89 MAF system for my 89 car which is currently tbi. I am putting on 081 heads, zz4 cam, headers-back, intake, ported plenum/base, and a few other small things which dont really matter. my question is i got a 350tpi computer and i have 22Ib injectors if i stick that all in would the car run correctly? or would it run poorly due to too much fuel although the MAF should adjust accordingly correct?

It should be ok. I'm running my custom chip for a 350 and 24lbs injectors in a stock 305 with 24lbs injectors (while I rebuild the 350) and its fine. But that doesnt mean yours will be fine, it means it probably will be fine.

Re: 350 chip in a 305

i shouldnt be too bad, as long as the injectors you use are 350 injectors. or atleast lfow the same. the displacement hardly matters for MAF because the sensor will jsut read more air.

now if this was MAP, it would throw it all outa wack. there is a displacement factored into fueling for MAP.

One thing tho, i have an 86 305, and i tried running an 89 corvette 350 bin (the ARAP) and it had way too much spark advance for me and my engine was knocking. so thats something to cinsider, but unfortuantely i wont be able to shead much usefull light on that matter.
