Car: 89 TA
Engine: 413 TPI
Transmission: TKO 600
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Biggest Cam TPI/Miniram
What is the biggest cam you can run in a modified TPI car? I have a ported BigMouth Base, Siamesed SLP Runners, and a 52mm TB on a .060 over 400 making it a 413ci. I'm asking because I blew a head gasket, and I want to put a ridiculous cam in the TPI this summer when I replace the head gasket.
You Miniram guys, what is the highest RPM a Miniram will pull to? TPIS said they're good to 7500 RPMs. I'm asking because next winter I want to downstroke my 413ci with a 350 crank to a 383ci and spin it to 8500ish on the street. I don't know what intake I'm going with yet and I'm obviously upgrading my heads from my Iron Dart Heads. Right now I'm on the stock computer with a chip, then when I redo the Engine next year, I'll go with an aftermarket computer.
