HSR timing 268xfi

Ive been reading a bit about timing,I set mine to 0 and reconected the esc wire,it seems to run ok.
but Ive read most set thers to 6 degrees(no mention on btdc or aftc)
Im slightly confused maybe someone can clear this up for me,thx!

Should just start with the stock timing and go from there. That is 6 BTDC.

ok set,6 deg btdc,didnt notice much of a differnce except a bit smoother idle.
