fuel problems HELP!!!
My 89 is running wierd it sounds like it's miss fireing and is hard to start. i disconected the mass air flow sensor and most of the problems went away. It starts easier and quicker with it unpluged. I was thinking about replacing the MAS but i want to make sure there's nothing wrong with the relay or solenoid. Any thoughts appreciated.

Re: fuel problems HELP!!!
Disconnecting the MAF does not guarantee that the problem is there. It simply makes your ECM go into limp home mode, so it ignores all the sensors and uses a preset mixture. Do you have trobule codes? Have you done any recent changes to the engine that caused this?
