need an answer

hey guys I bought a 86 iroc 305tpi auto in may ive worked on it replacing everything all sensors and it stays in limp mode...I decided to take the tpi off and put a carb on it, when i took off the tpi I started looking threw the wires and noticed the oil sending unit had 2 plugs a small one thats on top off the sending unit and a big one on the bottom, the bottom was unplugged and stuffed behind the wiper motor. Could this be my problem of it goin in limp mode?

No
the unplugged unit is the back switch to run the fuel pump if fuel pump relay fails

Re: need an answer

i thought that was supposed to cut power off to the fuelpump if the oil pressure got too low?
