has anyone beside me put a TPI in a 1989 GMC Sierra ?

It's a 92 Vett MAP setup but I'm using a older Plenum that has the longer fins on the top, it look's cooler

tpi map y-body was only available in 90-91, 92 was Lt1

Guys have put TPI engines into nearly anything that moves ;especially non GM vehicles
( very popular with Jeep owners )

In any case shouldn't you be asking that question on the truck Forums?

Slapping a TPI setup in anything is actually very easy. The TPI setup is almost a stand alone system. I'm currently buttoning up the TPI setup in my Comanche right now but everything works and she starts up.

The TPI setup isn't as popular as it once was in Jeeps. Jeep owners are going more towards the LS and LQ series now if they go Chevy.

I put one in a 1984 GMC Sierra this year..With an aftermarket wire harness it was a piece of cake. I guess it is not as popular as it was, but I am very happy with it.

Now it's time to figure out how to tune it...If I can ever find the time.

I didnt do the swap, just dealing with the headaches, but have a '92 L98 TPI in my '86 K5 Blazer (4X4 700R4).
