not correct power?

hey friends, been a while since ive posted on here, but i had my engine combo (see sig) dynoed last year and im a little confused with the LACK OF POWER... :-[ it only made 205hp at the wheels and like 280tq or something...been a while since I've looked at the char.t but a 350, with a cam, headers, and HSR should be at least over 320 at the motor no? the tuning guy said he may be able to get another 20-30hp out of it after I get the driveshaftb balanced ut regardless that still seems low. i have a 700r4 with a shift kit and no stall converter....should i look at getting one? not sure what it really does also thinking about a t56 swap....help havent raced but it would be nice to at least be in the mid 13s when i do
cheers

Re: not correct power?

under his name it says he's running 3.27. I'm curious how much more power he should have too.

Re: not correct power?

What are your engine specs? If the motor/cam was built for a blower, you may not be able to take full advantage of the combo. My orig engine made 214hp/312tq at the wheels with no modifications. You should be above that for certain.

Re: not correct power?

no, the motor was not built for a blower ad it is just a stock bottom end. I talked to the tuning guys today and they suggested one of their custom stand alone engine management systems as it will make things easier for them to tune...anyone else have issues with tuning the stock ecu?? they say this would be the way to go as the new system would be easier to tunr eith whatever engine modifications i do down the road.....seems other with my setup are at least 280 rwhp....mine is 207rwhp....lol quite a bit away
